Weekly Program
In the Wilde Matilde there is something to do every day – except for Mondays, when we are closed. On all other days of the week, sweet tooths, gourmets, adventurous people and friends of colorful entertainment get their money’s worth. In our small Varieté there is dance, music, artistry and acrobatics combined in entertaining performances with period costumes. Something very special are our burlesque shows and our dazzling dancers and singers who will take you to the wild world of Matilde on the chain carousel bar.

Theater, vaudeville, music and swinging like in the old days
Josephine Baker brought the Charleston to Berlin in the golden twenties. Boogie-woogie originated in the USA at the same time, spilled over into Germany in the mid-1940s and infected a whole generation of young people with the dance fever to the fast rhythms of swing, jazz and rock’n’roll. These and other dance styles are experiencing a revival in wild Matilde.
Musicians provide the right atmosphere at the microphone, piano, saxophone or turntables. They entertain in the background, they are part of the variety program or they are the center of attention and play a concert. Styles: Swing, jazz, chanson, lounge.
The artists of the Wilde Matilde love it squeaky colorful. Their costumes are lovingly selected and constantly changing. Their outfits and wigs in bright colors are completely in the style of the Wilde Matilde with chain carousel bar and old pink rococo furniture.
