In her youth, Wild Matilde was a burlesque dancer in cabarets and backyard dives. Burlesque is entertainment theater in the style of the roaring twenties and means nothing other than beauty dance. At that time it was disreputable, today it has long since become respectable.
The three-hour burlesque workshop at Wilde Matilde is a taster course for women regardless of age or previous experience. Great fun for any bachelorette party, girls’ night out, girls in love, best friends and colleagues. Also for ladies beyond the age of 30, who want to “lure their old man off the couch again”, this popular dance is an absolute secret weapon.
After a short introduction to the history of beauty dance, the dancers of Wild Matilde will show you burlesque and show dance choreographies. They will also reveal valuable tips and tricks for glamorous show make-up and seductive outfits. Those who wish may demonstrate their own clothes and accessories on stage. The end of the course is rounded off with a sparkling glass of sparkling wine.
