★★★★☆ Tolle Küche und grandioses Ambiente – aber der Service war ein Erlebnis für sich Das Ambiente in der Wilden Matilde ist wirklich toll – wie ein quietschpinker Bonbon-Zirkus mit Varieté-Flair und einer super Tortenauslage am Eingang. Auch das Essen und die Kaffeespezialitäten waren absolut top und extrem lecker. Unsere Frühstücks-Etagere für zwei Personen war reichhaltig gedeckt, sehr schick angerichtet – dafür würde ich am liebsten 7 von 5 Sternen geben! Einziger Haken: Das Brot hat für die Menge an Belag nicht ganz gereicht. Wir hatten allerdings regelrecht Angst, Brot nachzubestellen, weil wir schon so lange auf die Etagere warten mussten und befürchteten, dann noch eine Stunde dort zu sitzen. Denn der Service lief leider absolut planlos ab. Obwohl am Sonntag kaum etwas los war (vielleicht 30-40 Leute, die Nebensäle komplett leer), wirkte das Personal völlig überfordert. Das hatte was davon, als müssten die „Drei Damen vom Grill“ aus der alten Fernsehserie plötzlich ein Auto reparieren. Keiner hatte eine Struktur. Dabei war die Bedienung eigentlich super liebenswert, charmant und brachte tolle Sprüche mit echter „Berliner Schnauze“. Als meine Freundin einen Chai Latte bestellen wollte, hieß es direkt im Dialekt: „Nee, dett kannste bei uns nisch trinken, dett schmeckt scheiße. Ich bin ehrlich zu euch, ick will ja kene schlechte Bewertung.“ Sie entschuldigte sich auch mit einem „Schätzelein, bist mir nicht böse“. Das war wirklich sympathisch, aber die Organisation stimmte einfach nicht. Die liebenswerte Berliner Art bleibt uns herzlich in Erinnerung. Wie chaotisch es war, sah man überall: Ein älterer Herr am Nachbartisch fragte schon, ob er helfen könne, weil es an allen Ecken und Kanten hakte. Und an einem anderen Tisch musste der Großvater vier- bis fünfmal zum Tresen laufen, weil Besteck, Brot oder Getränke fehlten. Zudem stehen die Tische so extrem eng, dass man, wenn man erst einmal sitzt, nicht mehr aufstehen mag. Schade auch: Die Bedienung am Tisch wusste nicht, welche Torten es vorne gab. Zum Nachgucken kam man durch die Enge aber kaum mehr raus – das könnte man drinnen besser anpreisen (Tafel) Fazit: Wenn das Personal besser eingestimmt ist und jeder feste Aufgaben und Tische hat, sollte es deutlich besser laufen. Da ist im Service noch sehr viel Berliner Luft nach oben! Weil das Essen aber fantastisch war und die Bedienung trotz der totalen Unbeholfenheit unheimlich charmant und lieb war, geben wir im Gesamten verdiente 4 Sterne. Wir kommen aber gerne mal wieder

Nice and colorful place with great food and great service. The seating is very comfy. The website gave the impression of a flamboyant atmosphere, but it was actually kind of quiet. Maybe it was because we went on a Wednesday evening. Go here for some delicious authentic Berlin cuisine, served with a smile.

Ein wunderschönes Café/Restaurant. Für alle Mädels die es pink mögen genau das richtige. Die Torten sind der absolute Knüller,riesen Stücken, Wahnsinns Geschmack und Preise die echt überraschen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
